Whats going on here
Please advise:
I was just cleaning the eavestroph out when I spotted this bit. Right where the two roofs meet if you squint you can see a white ( or is it metal? ) patch. Is this normal or is it a shingle missing. I won't be climbing up there for a better look. The roof is only 4 years old. Thanks |

Looks like flashing that is showing below the shingle line from what I can see.

Whats going on here
Looks like flashing to me to, sure hope they caulked those exposed nails.
There is better way to have installed that so it would not have shown. Something would have to be very wrong if you can not walk around on a 3 year old roof. (no not wrong with you, the shinlges) |

I agree---looks like metal flashing----a closer shot would be helpful----
A helicopter or balloon ? I know you aren't fond of ladders---we sure don't need another thread featuring an X-ray of a broken leg!

Whats going on here
Thanks Guys for responding
Joe: Actually some say there is plenty of things they could find that are wrong with me and yes walking around on the roof is one of. Mike: I'm on the ladder for the picture. It's not so much the ladder as it is the transition from the ladder to the roof. Even being on the roof is preferable to the transfer, especially going down . Going up for some reason is easier. If I can figure out how to post the zoomed picture I will, otherwise maybe if I don't think about it, it will go away? lol Thanks fella's |
