What's fair?

I don't do much ladder work. I have some fascia that blew off in a recent storm and needs to be replaced. A gent came out today to look at it and will be getting back to me tomorrow with a price. The fascia is custom bent and is colored. I know what that should cost.
The fascia gets attached 37 feet from ground level and will probably take two people on ladders to take off the old and install the new...2 sections of 10' each.
Anyone got ant ideas as to what I should expect to pay?
Thanks.

What's fair?

Firstly, it depends on the per hour rate of professional contractors in your area.

2 Men X 4 hours each @ $ 75.00 per man hour = $ 600.00

Plus Material Cost

Plus Fabrication time at their shop

Plus driving time with truck and equipment

Plus Service Call Fee

Plus additional Profit for a small job.

I would actually think that should more realistically go for about $900.00 to $1,200.00 in my area.
