Sounds like you have a torch on and there is a coating you can get but I'll be damned if I can remember the name of it but I got it from Home Hardware

Whether it is a hot asphalt glaze coat or a modified bitumen torch down roof, you can apply a fibered aluminum coating which comes in5 gallon buckets.

How far apart are the seams of each ply of material?

How weathered and burnt out does the roof surface look?

If it is starting tocome apart and flake, then it is too late for just an aluminum fiber coating.

it has not come apart yet and it is not flaking, but it is bubbling up in some part. Is there a particular brand or type of aluminum coating i should be looking to buy
