What is the quickest way to repair a flat roof with Moss growing on it?
Just purchased an 80 year old home with a tar and gravel roof. Has Moss built up on it, and is starting to leak in spots. Any idea of a quick and economical way to get maybe 3 years out of it, until we can afford to rebuild the roof on trusses? Keep in mind we get temperatures from -30 in the winter to +30c in the summer, and lots of snow , ice, and rain. Any help is greatly appreciated, as we have many other projects that will need our attention (and pockbook) in fixing up this great old house.
Remove the roof with leakage and moss and replace it with a roof with no moss and that don't leak.
No easy way around it.Dig deep in them pockets and pull the trigger. You need a roof.
