What do you think of my roofing job?

in pic two why is there a fastback louver vent under the ridgevent? Also those shingles look like the ones i had put on my sisters house over the summer. Certainteed landmark 30ar mission brown. I could be wrong but if not they are real similiar in color. Also the fast back brown louver vents are exactly like the ones the roofer put on the back of my sisters ridge. He ran 11 of those like every 3 or 4 feet or so.

I sure hope it flattens out for you.

As the person on that website states "It doesn't show you how to do this valley on the wrapper". It doesn't show you how to do it in any mfr literature whatsoever because it is not a mfr recommended detail. As I said, it's lazy roofing

I agree that you can never tell if the old flashing was done correctly.

One major problem with installing all new flashings is the fact that you have to remove and replace siding, which brings up a whole new scope of work, that many homeowners dont want to deal with or pay for, etc.

Also, in my contract it says "woven valleys" but I don't think that what I'm getting. Guess I got bent over.
One inch past drip edge is good.

You did not get woven valleys. You got the half-jacked valley. they just lay a shingle up the valley and butt the shign les to the inside edge. BS way of doing it. It takes skill to lay a proper valley.

Yes that venting is jacked up.... those can vents are short-circuting your air flow. Only the air at the top is getting turned over because air takes the path of least resistance and is being sucked in through the cans and out through the ridge.

The rest of the attic air is still there... all stagnant and hot and moist and icky.
