What to cut a hole in OSB?

I have a tight space in the attic where I need to cut an opening into a false roof to blow some insulation (around knee height). 1/2" OSB. What would you guys suggest I use that is best suited for this? Reciprocating saw?

Yep! If you have the room, a circular saw with an old blade will work also.

Just drill upper left corner, and lower right corner with a paddle bit. Cut out a square with your sawsall. You can also use a multi tool, or a roto-zip.

Don't care for the reciprocating saws in OSB as it will tend to tear the chips at the cut.

An oscillating/multi tool can work great as well as an angle grinder and roto zip.

Hole saw works well....best part....it holds on to the piece it cuts out....except for some saw dust...it's pretty clean.

Even if you are on the right track, you will still get run over if you just sit there.
