vent chute condensation
do the vent chutes need to extend to the soffets. the vent chutes end at the knee wall (about four or five feet from the soffets) ,and are insulted and drywalled, but condensation is dripping. there is a ridge vent and the soffets are clear of insulation. how do i stop the dripping

If they are butted up to tightly or overlap each other, then the installation did not follow the manufacturers specifications.

Humidity is a "Given" in a lived in home and the transference of the internal humidity Will travel and condensate.

The instructions state, (at least from the brands I have used), thet there must be a slight gap between each of the baffle vent chutes to allow the small amount of collected condesation to not accumulate into a large amount of condensation.
