vent CFM rating on dormer vent

I'm installing a 100 sq in half round roof dormer vent. The opening is 24" x 12"

I want to know the CFM rating. It'll be used to vent a 18~24K BTU air conditioner, I don't know the CFM output of the AC yet, but need to know if this vent will be enuff.

Basically the AC will vent it's hot air directly out this vent.

Thanks, KarlJay.

Looks like one rule of thumb is 400 cfm / ton. So this will be a 2 ton unit, will this mean the A/C exhaust will be 800 cfm?

If so, would 100 sq inches be enuff for 800 cfm?
