Using smart vent with a gutter cap

I have to have a new roof installed. My property not only has many trees producing volumes of leaves, but 2 locust trees that produce blossom debris in the spring, requiring me to have some type of gutter cap system installed to prevent gutter clogs. I want as maintenance free system for gutters as possible (no more cleanings). My soffitts are too narrow for vents so I'm having to use some type of edge vent system. What type of eave vent system will work with a gutter cap or helmet system? I see potential problems using both but really need the benefits of both.

Air Vent probably makes the best over deck venting and you can located the vents above the first course of shingles where the gutter cap would tie in.

Using smart vent with a gutter cap

Thanks for the Air Vent info. Would a fascia vent work in my situation? What about installing a Smart vent system further up the roof, just past where the gutter cap system would be installed?

Both will work but the vented fascia board is not cheap.
