This is the construction note for the 1.9:12 slope on part of my new roof.

Can someone put this in terms I can understand?

Standard application of a 2-ply and a cap over a nailed base sheet. Installed properly, it's been a decent system for a hundred years.

They are going to nail down a 40mil base sheet to your decking, mop two layers of fiberglass mat, then mop a cap sheet (90mil to 160mil depending on mfr) over the top of that.
