It took the Home Depot three roofs to get it correct!

I have set up a web site with a lot of pictures from the three roof installations. The 2nd roof was approved by GAF, when you see the pictures you will wonder why. My project manager from the Home Depot said that I would be financialy compensated for all of my troubles. Has anyone heard of the Home Depot compensating anyone? Please look at all pages.

Thanks,

Don

Yep, all subs, never hire a big company.
Secondly, that's GAF Timberlines for ya. They are not a very good shingle. Wayyy too soft or they are way too brittle. Landmarks are much better.
I can't believe what some people do and call it their job. I have never seen so much caulking in my life. Why would you put your ladder up on the gutter and why right in front of the house on the walkway. What a mess! I hope you get something out of them as i would guess you paid quite well.

Wow, that is just amazing!!!!
The 3rd roof is OK, and definitely the best of the three. There are so many mistakes, where does a guy start???? I really hope you nail them. I am one who would stand behind you that this work is not done even close to properly. How did this pass code?

places like HD and Sears always have the worst subs.
they cant get work on there own so they sub from them for short money. the office and sales people dont have a clue about roofing. next roof you do hire a local roofer with a good track record.

The manufacturer will now pay to have a new roof and wood deck installed.

I admire then for standing behind their problems, but get a thorough, and I mean thorough home inspection to see if you have damage beyond the roof, caused from leaks. You need to know now, not after they settle your claim.

Hey there... I had actually used to work at the "HD" for about 3 years... Yeah it was a pretty decent company and all... But when it came to an issue like yours... They did not handle it to well... There were various ways of dealing with problems like that... But of course I still do support the company fully... Especially over Lowe's (which I worked for as well)!!!
