Tile roof
Does Behr have a paint for concrete tile roofs? If so, does the paint come with some kind of sealer? What does one use to apply the paint? Will a spray gun work? Please advise.

They may have one, but if thats the route your going i would find something better.

The only one we have used is Time will tell, but it appeared to be a very highquality product. Again, we used them once but would not hesitate to use them again.

I am sure there are 20 others also, it just doesnt come up that often for us.

Painting a tile roof:eek:
What do you do when it starts peeling?

It is done a lot in So Cal, they do appear to stick very well. If they prep it right it should not peel. We used it for a standing seam job where the customer wanted to change the color instead of buying a new SS roof. We used those folks because they provided a 10 yr warranty on the paint. But respraying concrete roofs here is common.

If it peels in 10 yrs i guess they will need to do it again but it was a fraction the cost of a new SS.

Respraying them is common here, too. Preparation and the correct primer/sealers is critical to success. I've seen coatings that have lasted 15-20yrs before needing to be redone, and plenty that failed after 4-5 years because the owner took the cheapest price & the contractor skimped on the prep.
