taken by a roofing con artist

The main guy promised me he'd be on the job to oversee it, didn't happen. He said all debris would be picked up daily, didn't happen. I still paid him in full after the job was completed. The roof has already been leaky, causing me to re-spack, re-paint walls. And to boot, dragged me through small claims court, 2-years after I paid him, after never contacting me in between, hoping to squeeze an additional $3,000 out of me for services already paid for. (I won in court.) So, I just want to warn anyone looking...

This is a "how to" site, not a "why I hate this product/company" site

So, how has this helped warn anyone?

Was he the cheapest of all your bids?

A mod "magically" deleted most of the post.

Probably a good thing since it was all slander with no fact.

OP said he/she won in court but I guess that wasn't good enough.

Cheapest bid??? That's got my vote.

Happens ALL THE TIME, even in my tiny neck of the woods. The ones I know of, they didn't sue, they just hired us to fix, and never hired that company again.

Never trust a guy who is just a salesman who works for a company who subs all their work to the cheapest sub. I'm just guessing that was your situation.
