SR Cable brackets onto shingled roof

Hello Again All,

Will these work to nail in SR cable brackets to shingle roof?

Can't find HDD nails unless I get 45 or 50 .lbs bucket. Don't need that many and all others are coiled for nail guns. I just need singles as I'll be putting in 50-100 brackets and each bracket will probably only require 1 maybe two nails with a hammer and then a shank center punch to protect roof.

These are the brackets to secure to roof under the overlapped shingle:
