Soffit spaces - Bat concern

A neighbor has his soffits installed but is concerned about some of the spaces where ther are some gaps. His concern is that bats may end up nesting under the eaves. He suggested just caulking there exposed area. I think it might work but would like to hear other options. Thanks

Soffit spaces - Bat concern

If the gaps are big enough for bats then they’re probably to big for caulk.

Post some pictures.
