I sure hope someone here can help me out on this one. As I stated in my introduction post, we bought a old home and restored it. When I decided to put a metal roof on it, I knew I was going to need some help with that chore. I had alot of friends and their friends sign up to help me. When we started putting it on, one of the guys said he had a uncle who put metal roofs on and his uncle always put silicone as a gasket on every piece . So hey, did'nt sound dumb to someone who never put a tin roof on a house before.
Well now it sounds real dumb. I have these ugly gray lines up and down my roof. I tried rubbing this stuff off, but it is baked on. Any ideas on how to remove this from metal? any help would be appreciated.
