I have an addition that the previous owners added on, by them selves. The entire addition is crap. The one thing I want to start to fix is the fact that there is siding on the inside of the room. How can I remove that section of the siding and maintain what little seperation to the outside that I have?
Need to at least know what type siding it is, what was it installed over?
I've seen dozens of porches built this way by DIY's, makes no since but it is what it is.
How to do this right depends on what type siding you have and supplying some pictures.
Bet there's going to be some other issues at the top of the wall and how the roof was tied in to the main building.
