Shed Roof Ventilation
I'm building a small (6x8) storage shed for garden tools in my yard in north Idaho. It will be wood frame construction with a comp shingle roof and vinyl siding. There will be no insulation or interior finishes. The attic will be open rafters with no ceiling. I would like your recommendations about venting: gable vents or soffit and ridge or high and low on one wall. Thanks in advance.

Ridge and Soffit combo will probably move more air and keep it a bit closer to ambient.

Cut holes in soffits about the size of wall grates, then install regular 505 or if you want to get fancy like I did buy the cheap clear plastic ones so you get more light in the shed, I used 3 on a 8x16 and 4 soffit vents.

Mostly i just didn't want it to get too hot or smell like gas, the not smelling like gas was more important.
