shake liner felt vs. roof deck felt
I have roll of #30 18" felt shake liner left over from a job years ago - is there any reason I shouldn't use it for underlayment for asphalt shingles on my shed?

Nope.
Should work fine. If you ask Tinner, he would tell you how underlayment isn't even necessary and he would be right. Go ahead and use it as it will be fine for this application.
