shake liner felt vs. roof deck felt

Windows Member   Join Date: Feb 2010 Location: South Seattle Posts: 507	shake liner felt vs. roof deck felt I have roll of #30 18" felt shake liner left over from a job years ago - is there any reason I shouldn't use it for underlayment for asphalt shingles on my shed? Thanks

If you ask Tinner, he would tell you how underlayment isn't even necessary and he would be right.
