Seamless Gutter in relation to SMACNA

I have been told by a contractor that hired a sub that does not support 7" seamless gutters that any seamless gutter over 50 feet is not to code. I responded that is for sectional and not seamless manufactured on site. I need 75' and 100' runs. I do not believe SMACNA guidance applies

Thanks for any help.

Seamless Gutter in relation to SMACNA

My SMACNA manual is of early 60's vintage and does not address seamless gutters. Later versions may.

Seamless Gutter in relation to SMACNA

I have put on 100 foot sections of seamless gutters with no problems regarding warping. I dont see what the issue is.

Can you ask him what the problem might be?
