How many square feet does one bundle of shingles cover

It says on the packaging. Some bundles may contain less than the other, but it will tell you the size of the "square" on the information printed on the packaging.

A square is 10 ft. X 10 Ft.
Some take 3 some take 4 bundles.
Figure on loosing about 10% when ordering.
Better to have to many then being short a bundle.
You also will need extras for starter shingles and caps.

Actually you can get starter's and caps from some companies, so that you do not use the regular shingles for that part. Especially with Architectural shingles.
