Roofing Question


I am having a new roof installed and a dormer with a window do I need to had a ridge vent installed ?

Roofing Question


Do you have any wxisting vents? You should always vent the roof, the way you do it is the only question. Make sure the soffit is vented and air flow is not impeded from soffit to venting

My contractor said the inside temp of roof should be the same as outside temp. so yes.

I think that might happen about twice a day for 30 seconds each time.

Absolutely true.

If you roofer is expecting the inside temp to be the same as the outside, he is living in fantasy land.
