Shelly T Newbie   Join Date: Oct 2011 Posts: 1	Roofing Question I am having a new roof installed and a dormer with a window do I need to had a ridge vent installed ?

packer_rich Member   Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: Illinois, Chicago area Posts: 285	Roofing Question Do you have any wxisting vents? You should always vent the roof, the way you do it is the only question. Make sure the soffit is vented and air flow is not impeded from soffit to venting
