What is the difference in quality between Heritage IV 30 year shingles and GAF 3o year Timberline Architectual Shingles?

Look at the weights in regards to the volume of water proofing asphalt used in the construction of the shingle.

Does timberline has AR standard?

I have to disagree with Sly. But it's not the first nor last time we will disagree. There are a ton of threads about this topic already so I won't bring it back up.

No differences because they are both inferior to Certainteed Landmark shingles

All depends on the region. Been putting GAF/Elk on here for more than 20 years. Much more popular than CT. I personally have never had a material issue with either in all that time.

Grumps, AR is not required everywhere. Not used here because it's completely ineffective.
