Roof vents + wind + snow = Wet attic!

Traditional exhaust fans are used in the hot weather and are usually thermostatically controlled. Use in cold weather would be questionable, but well within posting parameters.

The shingle vent II from certaineed has been the best form of attic ventilation we have used, Its baffled and tranfers the most air flow on the market.
