Roof vents

2 days ago we had a decent amount of snow with wind. I have lived in this house for 7 years and never experienced this before, but I had 2 water spots on the ceiling of my attached garage. I crawled up in the attic and noticed the snow blew in through the roof vents and therefore melted on the ceiling drywall. How can I prevent this in the future.

+1

Post up some pictures. Might be unavoidable to some extent if you have enough snow.
