I have lived in my house in Phoenix, AZ for 19 years. (The house is 30 years old total and 1,249 square feet.) I have numerous circular holes (about 5" dia.) under the eaves and vents on both side ends of the attic for circulation/venting. I am having my roof replaced, and the roofer says I need to add ridge venting or turbines for proper heat dissipation to maintain the integrity of the roof. Is this correct? Or is the original venting adequate?
Hey Ed, I think the " part is meant to be an inch mark as in 5" dia. I've seen this same thing elsewhere on the forums. Must be something to do with the OS/browser combinations some members are using.
