Roof Turbine Vents vs. Traditional Ridge Vents. One Better?

I am having a new roof put on my house. Should I be looking to install roof turbines vs. the "typical" roof ventilation system(i.e.ridge vents etc.)? Is one better than the other or possibly have some of each?

If roof turbines are the way to go, will most roofers swap out the cost of the the turbine installation/parts in place of the traditional roof vents or are the turbines more costly and more time consuming to install?

Should not mix the two. The passive vents will suck pressure through the turbines and vice-versa depending on wind conditions. Short circuits the whole design.

IMO RidgeVent along with a functioning soffit is the best combination.

With my customers I apply the would be cost of turbines with the actual cost of closing the turbine holes out and the installation of RidgeVent.
