I plan on just doing my shed and garage roof, is it worth me spending the money to buy a roof stripping shovel??

I would not waste my money on A cheap one.
One like these is not going to break 1/2 way through the job.

Also going to need tarps for laying on the ground, compressor, roofing nail gun, magnet to pick up the nails on the ground.

No need for a gun on something that small, especially if he's never used one before.
