That is one of the most common areas of roof leaks. Where one roof ties into another roof or roof system.

If you find evidence of shingle problems. Curled-back shingles can be attached with mineral pitch roof cement or compound in tubes for use with a caulking gun. In warm weather, you can easily straighten out the curled shingle. In cold weather, shingles become very brittle and must be softened before they can be flattened out.

Transitions from a flat roof to a shingle roof are common problems.Pix would help.

Pitch breaks are also a common area for leaks.Pitch breaks are change from flat to the pitch of your shingled area.
