Roof flashing question

For new roof installation, what are the locations flashing should be installed? Do not want to go with "flashing as necessary" as in the proposed contract. Would like to have specifics there. Thank you

Roof flashing question

I am guessing a re-roof and I am sure they are referring to areas like wall intersections behind siding and chimneys.

Post up some pictures if you can and more contract verbiage will help elicit more feedback.

Sorry do not have a picture of the roof. It is to replace the existing roof (sloped, asphalt shingles)

Roof flashing question

At a minumum they need to replace all the flashing at the vents, not just reuse them.
Someone would really need to be there to judge to replace or just reuse the flashing around something like a chimmney. If it's steel or it's starting to rust, replace it.
