Ridge vent or Mushroom roof vents ?
Which is better for keeping out driving rain ? -And if I go with ridge vent, how effective is caulking btwn. the flange and the shingles ?

IMO RidgeVent is the best.,.,A functioning soffit would add to the maximum required for ventilation.,.,
