ridge vent cap question

I just had my roof redone and after specifically telling the contractor which way to install the ridge caps (in relation to the wind) they did it the wrong way. Should I have them redo it or am I overreacting? If you think they should redo it, I'm assuming they should not reuse the cap shingles, correct? What about the ridge vent itself, should that be reused?

Thanks for any suggestions!
