Reroofing over low sloped roof

I have a sloped roof with two layers of 90# . A roofer wants to place a 4-ply torchdown over top and install breather vents near top of roof. The last layer of 90# is over 15 yrs. old and has started to leak. I guess I did a poor install when I did the roof.
Thank You for and replies.

Thanks for reply. They want to apply the torchdown over top of the old roofing. Sorry that I can not post pictures. I am sure the roof is alligatored due to its age. They did not say anything about a coverboard.

IMO thats a pretty dangerous situation.I would ask for a detailed description of his project procedure.I would do this prior to job commencement.

If not have the # to the fire department handy.IMO

I agree. Best to just tear it off and single ply it.
