Hello,
I have a duplex located in Pittsburgh with tin box gutters on all four sides. I have a leak at the seam on the west side causeing water to pour throught the soffit. I am fairly handy so if I get the right advice I am sure I can repair it. I just don't know what product to use. I understand that silicone and the roof repair in a tube are not the correct choices. I do not want to solder the seam or solder patches. Although it looks like this was originally done.
The tin has not been painted for at least 15 years, but appears to be in good condition.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
