repairing sunroom roof

i bought my house in the summer of last year. we had a pretty wet rainy season after here in socali and my sunroom roof began to leak. its the fall now of the following year and now i need to repair the roof before the rainy season starts again.

im pretty handy can i think i can do the repair on my own. the sun room seems to be a plywood roof with architectural shingles.

here is the condition of the inside of the roof in the sunroom (two spots).

would it be as "simple" as cutting out the bad plywood and nailing in a replacement piece? could i cut out the bad plywood with a skillsaw w the blade depth adjusted?

shingles can be as "simple" as replacing the bad shingles...

any thoughts?

Need a picture of the roof to see why it failed.
No since replacing without figuring out why it failed.

+1 for the pics

Probably shingles on a low slope and / or improper tie in to the main roof but only pics will tell us the real deal.

i'm thinking both, comp on low pitch with an improper tie in or it may be rolled roofing with a bad tie.

We had some rain a week ago so the leak calls are starting to come in.
