My house is 13 years old. no leak.
Does roof need re-shingle now or years later?
Thanks a head.

Based on that picture, as soon as you can afford it I would seriously consider a new roof BEFORE you start having issues and causing internal damage. Those shingles are definitely on the backside of their lifespan.

Isn't that one of those new "Green" roofs?

Replace when you have the $$$. Those shingles are about as dead as roadkill my friend. As OldnBroken said, fix it BEFORE you have the problems, its cheaper in the long run.

BTW, that vertical pattern of shingle failure apears to be one rafter cavity wide - it would be interesting to stick a head up there and determine why.
