Rainhandler System?

Does anyone have any experience or information on the Rainhandler system? (http//rainhandler.com) I really like the concept but does it really work as advertised?

Thanks

I am sure it works as advertised but it still isn't right for most applications.

They do not get the water far enough away from the foundation.

+1

I wouldn't put them on my home regardless of grading.

I live in Southern California where 3/4" of rain fall constitutes the news calling for Storm Watch Insert yr / Month breaking news throughout the day. I would not put them on my home here and we get almost no rain. A gutter is ment to control run off, this product apparently threw that out the window in favor of leave control...water run off does not seem to be thier focus.

I was wondering though, for homes (built on certain soil) where rain water going along the foundation perimeter soil is actually good (when in moderation), would this type of product be better or beneficial compared to regular gutters with downspouts that divert water to certain locations rather than allow it around the foundation.

Would this product still at least be better than no gutters? Or is it worse than having no gutters at all?

I'm just curious because I have a house in Texas where the builder states to water the foundation perimeter during dry spells (due to clay soil I think or something of that sort). This might help with that when some rain comes along during dry times over having no gutters.
