Radiant Barrier ???

Has anyone installed a radiant barrier under their roof? Are you happy with it? Was it worth it? Are you saving any money? Does your cell phone still work?

Living in Florida and I'm thinking to give it a try, but wanted input from those whov'e tried it already.

Living in a warm climate as you do, a radiant barrier might do some good if the conditions of the install are correct.
No insulation directly on the barrier, you need to have the air gap.
There is no sheathing on it now and you are planning on installing sheathing anyway.
Plus other factors.

Needs an air space to work properly and radiant barriers and no replacement for proper insulation layers.

17,000 dryer fires a year, when did you last clean the inside of the dryer near motor or the exhaust ducting?
