quality 25-30 year shingles


Any recommendations for a quality, long lasting 25-30 year shingle?

Gaf/Elk timberline.
Tamko heritage.
Certainteed landmark.
Owens Corning duration.

I agree, but if you are only looking at price and effectiveness, then the Certainteed XT-30 3-tabs would also be a good recomendation.

Oops, Ed's right, I forgot to include standard 3-tab shingles in that list, they come in both 25 & 30 year form here in my area.
Each manufacturer I listed above carries them.

quality 25-30 year shingles


There isn't much, if any price difference though, and the laminate shingles are sooo much better.

Price is real close, in my area anyhow.
30 year dimensional sale for $78.00 per square.
30 year standard 3-tabs sale for $75.00 per square.
25 year standard 3-tabs sale for $72.00 per square.
