Peel and Seal opinions needed

Anyone try this http://www.solutions.mfmbp.com/MFM-0...20brochure.pdf on a low pitch roof. Seems like it would be the quickest (not best) way of doing a low pitch and flat roof.

All I use is Certainteed.The nice thing about peel and stick is the cleanliness of the product.Its very Diy friendly.When using peel and stick systems its very important to use the base sheet that is required to complete the system.

I have found the product to be more forgiving in the fall,winter and early spring.The milder the temps the more time you have if you have to adjust the cap sheet.

I usually use these products on residential jobs.I have yet to feel comfortable enough using it on a commercial that exceeds the use of a single row per course.

Do you use a mechanically fastened base or peal and stick base?
What about the decking when the peel and stick wears out?

Nail the base down, the peal and stick base will be impossible to remove from the deck.

I would nail a base, one layer of peel and stick base, and then the cap sheet.

i've actually used that MFM peel and stick on an older trailer. used the big rolls and came across roof on both sides. i rolled the crap out of it with a roller and put a final run across top like a cap. so far its still kicking no leaks.. the lady i did that for was a friend of the family and on a major budget and i dont even think i charged her for labor. but i've used alot of other self adhered products with much luck as well. certainteed is good and ive used mulehide SA SBS with good luck.

I was wondering, how would this product compare for use in patching up cracks/gaps and roof repair against roofing tar/cement (plus associated reinforcing fabric).

Is this better for those situations or stick with roofing tar?

stick with roofing cement but dont go crazy and smear it everywhere.
