Pedestrian roof

I am building a garage that is at a lower level to my garden, and would like to put a patio on the roof of it.
What sort of materials do you recommend I use (board thickness, felt or fibreglass etc), taking in to account I don’t want big thick beams as I want to keep the height down, also I don’t want to spend a fortune.

Pedestrian roof

Hello

A hard question to answer without seeing the roof.

Bear in mind that you have to have access to the roof for repairs etc.

I would put a timber deck onto the roof, this could easily be remove should the need arise and don't forget to leave enough room for the deck to expand and contract.
