Overlaping Gaf with 3-tab.

Hi, I live in a semi-detached house. My neighbour has 3 tab shingle on her side. I would like to put architectural GAF shingle on my side. Can it be overlapped/weaved into the middle? Please let me know. Thank you.

Gonna look like crapola. I would put in a divider. You live in a duplex, in NJ lingo. Are you from Canada? I dont get the term "Semi-Detached" I thought it should be called "Attached" or "Siamese home"

I live in Canada. Down here they call it semi-detached. It looks like I'm going to lay down 3-tab if that's my only choice. I don't feel like step flashing her side for a divider. Thank you

How bad are the shingles on the other side?
If there's are bad also see if you can work with them and get a better deal with the roofer.
Yes they can be weaved in but as mentioned not a great look. Just feel bad your going to have to settle for a cheaper shingle that's not going to last as long or look as good.

2 years old on the other side. I asked her to wait but she said her insurance wanted it done. She doesn't talk to us because of her hound dog long story. I'm doing the work myself. Is IKO shingle good?

I've never had any luck with there color matching even with the same lot number. Those and Tamko would not be my own choise.
