Question

Odd Leak..Think It's The Roof

Tonight we had a major rain downpour that lasted for about an hour. When I went into the bathroom at the end of the storm, I noticed a small puddle of light brown water that had seeped from under the tub, under the base molding that surrounds the front of the garden tub. I hadn't noticed this earlier in the day when I was in the bathroom. I cleaned it up, and noticed that it was continuing to seep from under the tub at a very slow pace. After the rain eased up, the water slowly began to stop coming from under the molding, and is now at the point of just barely being there at all.

Since neither the tub nor the shower next to the tub had been used since this morning, and the water wasn't there until the hard rain started, is it possible that this can be contributed to some kind of leak coming down through the wall that separates the shower and tub?

Could be a siding issue.

Post a picture standing back showing that side of the house.
How to attach a photo to a post
