New roof looks warped?
I had a new roof installed today--GAF Timberline 30 shingles. On close inspection, some of the new shingles look a bit curly, like they are not snug and flat against the surface. This is particularly evident with a strip of shingles that were cut to fit a narrow area, and the narrow shingle seems to have a tendency to curl up. The installer said that this is normal behavior, and that the shingles need a chance to heat up from the sun, and flatten out. Is this true? Thanks, Dan
