New Homeowners getting a flood in there dineing room

Hello fellow DIY'ers I recently bought a house in the Sunshine state of Florida, and it has been an experiance all of it's own. I moved in March 28th, had the house inspected March 9th,@9:00am In the Ispection report the roof is flat/gravel 1layer age of roof 8-10years (which our realitor told us 2-5 years old ) # of years remaining/ useful life 10- 15 years, Now June 6th 2007 I have a leak in my dineing room comeing from the crack in the ceiling the inspector said was perfectly fine. How can I fix this liveing like most Americans paycheck to paycheck Please help me!!!

You would do what every other American does and take a loan out against your newly aquired asset.
