Need to replace Eavestrophs

I have old eaves and they need replacing...the metal is wearing so thin that it doesn't drain and now holes are poking through.

Question is...does anyone have general advice about what to get and what to stayt away from...

From what I've read, go with metal and a continuous eave...is that right, and anything else?

Thanks!

Need to replace Eavestrophs

Go with Seamless .032 Aluminum Gutters with Hang-tite or Ray-Tec Hangers, space on every rafter tail, but no farther than 24" OC.

Use 3" x 4" downspouts instead of 2" x 3" downspouts and make sure the pitch of the gutters allows adequate flowage to the drop outlets.
