Mteal roof over existing shingles
The mobile home has a low pitch (3/12 I think) and roof shingles are okay. We would like to add a metal roof and have a few questions. Should the existing shingles be removed? Is strapping required? Is the pitch too low for metal roofing? (I think the actual roof is sound) Can we just screw into the existing roof sheathing?

Existing should be removed, strapping required, pitch is fine.
