Mold in attic

Are you the seller or the buyer?

Mold presence in the attic is an indicator of a far worse problem with insulation, vapor barrier and attic venting.

I have a maintenance company. I have been asked by the seller to take care of it. Its not horrible, and I understand that there could be several factors causing the problem. If their is such a certification for mold removal, this is a course I would not mind taking.

Yes and No,

Not all states require certification but most are voluntary.
As far as I know, there are no EPA protocol requirements.
However, there are industry protocol from various entities.
Google mold training and you will get an idea.

Hope this helps.
