Mobile home with covered deck

I have a mobile home with a typical mid 90"s metal roof. I am building a deck that I want covered. I am considering two options: 1, Gable roof to tie into existing gable or shed type roof to tie in to existing gable. I plan on using 29 ga galvanized roofing and intend to reroof the whole home in about two years. Any suggestions and why?

Mobile home with covered deck

Not sure where you are located weather wise, but it is getting late in season for roof work in many parts of the US even though roof work is done year round; I would think it would work best if you are going to re-roof the whole mobile soon, "to bite the bullet" and do all the roofing at once for the deck roof and mobile to get the best job. I realize that cost considerations may get in the way of this method however.
