Metal Roof vent pipe flashing

vtboy51 Member   Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Vermont Posts: 53	Metal Roof vent pipe flashing Putting on a new metal roof that has a 3" drain vent stack coming through. Is there a specific flashing boot that I can buy from the roofing company or can I use the one the local hardware store sells? How's it installed to prevent leaking, any tips are appreciated.

Also, a little more detail on the product you're installing might sway my opinion. "Metal Roof" covers lots of variables.
